Registered Physiotherapist | Women's Health

Samantha Chow

Hello, I'm Samantha, a registered physiotherapist at Aloha and a mother. These roles have given me a deeper appreciation for the health challenges women face at different stages of life. In recent years, I've focused particularly on the field of women's holistic health, including postnatal recovery, common urinary incontinence issues in middle-aged women, pelvic floor dysfunction, and posture and fascial problems caused by pregnancy, childcare, or chronic strain.

I love sports and enjoy running and working out at the gym in my free time. This not only keeps me energetic but also deepens my understanding of the connection between body function and physical therapy. I have accumulated extensive experience in public hospitals, private clinics, and home therapy services, treating various pain and incontinence issues. Now, I hope to focus my expertise on women's health, helping many women address problems that they "thought were unsolvable or were too embarrassed to talk about"—whether it's postpartum bodily changes, embarrassing situations caused by pelvic floor laxity, or chronic discomfort resulting from prolonged poor posture.

I believe that many women tend to prioritize the needs of their families and others, neglecting their own body signals. Therefore, I am committed to providing a safe and understanding environment, and developing personalized treatment plans based on each woman's life stage and individual needs. By combining manual therapy, exercise training, and educational guidance, I help you regain physical autonomy and confidence from the inside out.

I continuously pursue the latest women's health treatment techniques because I want more women to realize that these issues don't have to be silently endured, but can be actively faced and effectively improved. Whether you are navigating the confusion of postnatal recovery or facing physiological changes in middle age, I am willing to accompany you step by step towards a lighter, stronger you.

Together, let's transform those unspoken worries into action and re-embrace a healthy and confident life.
